I think life forgot to take me along with it after spring break. I’ve just kinda been in a different world since we got back. I feel like every minute I’ve had since the break has been occupied, so everything’s just been a blur. God’s been trying to pound through my thick head that He’s all I need and that His timing is perfect. Such a simple truth, but so many other pleasures beg for our attention and we become content with the pleasures instead of desiring the source of all pleasure. I think life would be a lot easier if we could learn to be completely satisfied in Christ. Sometimes I wish I could live on an island all by myself for a few weeks but honestly I think I would find myself very unsatisfied. We sing songs saying He’s all we want but He’s not all we have. If we only had Him would we still say He’s all we want? Just thoughts going through this head of mine. Life is good–it always keeps you on your toes.

For anyone wondering, our toilet is now fixed so you don’t have to worry about me drowning in a pool of toilet water.

It’s funny how bad memories often turn to good ones with time.
