First of all, the weather here is great…so much better than Texas. At night it’s down in the 60s. Anyway, I’ve been in Nashville for about a week now and it’s going well so far. I got moved in and I have a nice little studio setup in one of the rooms of the apartment. I’ll try to post a picture sometime soon. I spent all day last Thursday in a studio in Franklin which was a whole lot of fun. They were mixing down this gospel band from New Orleans. I possibly have a job at Starbucks. I was supposed to have an interview today so I got all dressed up and then the lady called me asking if we could reschedule for Wednesday. I really need to get a real job because I’ve been staying up too late and then sleeping in til about noon.

Next week a friend from Texas A&M is coming up (Sarah Perry) and I’ll be recording a demo for her. I’m really looking forward to it because she’s really really talented and it’ll be my second full production/recording attempt. Later this summer I hope to record a demo of some of the new stuff I’ve been writing. So you can look forward to that (if you don’t my music that is).

This post is dedicated to being done with school for a little while. I ended up pulling off all A’s and one B. For a while I thought I was gonna have a few B’s and a possible C. However, I slacked off successfully. I leave for Nashville next Tuesday which I’m pretty excited (and nervous) about. I hope I can find a job and find something worthwhile to spend my time on. Anyway, hope all of you (the two people that probably read this) are having good summers! Next post should be from Nashville =)

It’s time for summer.

I’m very proud of myself, if I go to Physical Science tomorrow it’ll be the first time in a while that I’ve gone to that class the whole week. We don’t have an attendance policy and our professor’s stuck in Canada because of visa problems, so there’s really no incentive to go. One more week of pure fun (stuff like finals, juries, etc.) and I get to go home for a few weeks. After that I’m going to Nashville to make musical babies (I coined that phrase, thanks) and to find some sort of job for the summer. I’m really looking forward to the change in scenery (although I will miss you mom =) ).

So maybe I’m a nerd…but I gave my computer a new face. This way I’m one step closer to a Mac without forking over the money for it. In the meantime XP’s not so repulsive (at least cosmetically).
