nashville
First of all, the weather here is great…so much better than Texas. At night it’s down in the 60s. Anyway, I’ve been in Nashville for about a week now and it’s going well so far. I got moved in and I have a nice little studio setup in one of the rooms of the apartment. I’ll try to post a picture sometime soon. I spent all day last Thursday in a studio in Franklin which was a whole lot of fun. They were mixing down this gospel band from New Orleans. I possibly have a job at Starbucks. I was supposed to have an interview today so I got all dressed up and then the lady called me asking if we could reschedule for Wednesday. I really need to get a real job because I’ve been staying up too late and then sleeping in til about noon.
Next week a friend from Texas A&M is coming up (Sarah Perry) and I’ll be recording a demo for her. I’m really looking forward to it because she’s really really talented and it’ll be my second full production/recording attempt. Later this summer I hope to record a demo of some of the new stuff I’ve been writing. So you can look forward to that (if you don’t my music that is).
Anyway, I better get off and be productive. Feel free to say hi anytime, my cell is 972-816-2385. And if by any chance you feel like sending me something (like cookies, a guitar, or a million dollars…a letter would be fine too) my address is:
111 Old Hickory Blvd. #218
Nashville, TN 37221
Oh and I joined facebook if you do that sort of thing. Hope all is going well with everyone and I do miss all of you!
Ciao,
Aaron
almost anything is better than it is in texas. except maybe being hot and flat. cause texas is definately the best at being that.
I do miss you musical talents here at Mt Lebanon, however I am looking forward to new and more Double A-R-O-N coming this way. Keep me posted and I shall share with the peeps here.
Nothing is better than it is in Texas!!!
Everything is better than Texas. Especially Arkansas! Whoooooo Pig Soiee!
I mean, come home. Beautiful green, rolling hills. Streams, lakes and cool rivers. Nature at it’s best. Or, as Levi put it, hot and flat. No brainer. Not to mention you guys birthed Bush. If that isn’t enough to leave Texas, I am not sure what is.
amen and amen.
But you can have it all in Texas - tall trees, rolling hills, mountains, sand - you just have to travel a long way to get to it! Campmeeting in the Davis Mountains the first week of August - nice cool weather then!
And Arkansas birthed Clinton - that’s better????
(I do like Tennesseem a lot, though)
