Today was the longest day at work yet. I was cussed at by an obviously upset customer. Ironically, you and me pay his medical bill in the form of social security. But I had a nice intermission during which I stuffed my face with CiCi's like a good American.
Arkadelphia was good. I may even miss that place a little next semester. We'll see though.
I have some pretty sweet plans brewing for the weekend. Superman tonight and lake tomorrow through Monday (hopefully).
I think I'm ready to be old and grey. Mainly just so I can look back on these days and smile.
somewhere between
The how I can't recall
But I'm staring at what once was the wall
Separating east and west
Now they meet amidst the broad daylight
So this is where you are, and this is where I am
Somewhere between unsure and a hundred
It's hard I must confess
I'm banking on the rest to clear away
Cause we have spoken everything
Everything short of I love you
And who's to say it's wrong
And who's to say that it's not right
Where we should be for now
Welp I'm in Arkadelphia and it's nice to just relax.
I'm about to watch Stephen umpire some games. My fingers are crossed for an ejection.
Later....
Tonight I looked up at the sky and had no choice but to smile. God's pretty clever.
Rick Steves gave me some advice tonight at Barnes & Noble. My time in Europe is nearing with every tick of the clock.
Speed scrabble occupied part of my night as well.
We all long for connection--to our Maker and to other people.
What a weekend. There's not much else you can say.
My spendings are greater than my income. I was awake enough in personal finance (stress on the last syllable) to know that is not a good thing.
