I kissed filing goodbye 4

Today was my last day working for the eye doctor. The ladies I worked with found great pleasure from whine (not the alcoholic beverage). As I was leaving today I was reminded by one of them that when I’m married and my wife is their age I’ll have an advantage since I’ll already know how to put up with it. Other than that it was a good summer job and I got some sweet specs.

I purchased the new Muse CD today. I haven’t gotten to listen to it yet, but when I was leaving Best Buy the guy at the door asked me if I had ever been told I look like Tom Green. I didn’t know what to say. He then told me that I was better looking of course. I still didn’t know what to say.

I just found out that Sufjan Stevens will be touring Europe during my 2 week travel break in Austria. Delectable.

On Monday I leave for my 21st consecutive annual trip to Bloys Campmeeting in the Davis Mountains. It never gets old. When I get back I have about a hundred things to do before going to Austria. One of them being spending a week in Arkadelphia, which I eagerly anticipate.

Keep your eyes peeled to readiculo.us. I can’t say much about it yet, but it’s sure to take over the world.

Until the next time I’m bored on a Friday night…

…aufwiedersehen meine Freunde!

hold me Jesus 2

Surrender don’t come natural to me
I’d rather fight You for something I don’t really want
Than take what You give that I need
And I’ve beat my head against so many walls
Now I’m falling down, I’m falling on my knees

But your grace rings out so deep
It makes my resistance seem so thin

So hold me Jesus cause I’m shaking like a leaf
You have been King of my glory
Won’t You be my Prince of Peace

change never killed anyone 2

I’ve decided to give this site a little bit of my time, so here is the fruit of my labors. I still have a lot to do but it’s functional for now. Let me have your two cents.

Until next time…
