titles are a drag
So Flannery O’Connor just rocked my world. She has an odd mastery for creating characters that are at the same time likeable and disgusting. Read the short story “Revelation”, it’s wonderful.
The other night I went and heard a string quartet perform Maurice Ravel’s String Quartet in F-major. Since that time I have listened to it about 5 times. It is quite wonderful.
Salzburg is getting a lot cooler. My toes are cold as I speak [type]. The river has become my north star. So I echo along with the Talking Heads: “take me to the river”.
Languages are made up of words. And lots of them. I know about 1.8% of the German ones.
Sometimes I really want to be in love. Then I realize that I have no conception of what love is [pragmatically speaking].
i listened to your tunes. i liked your tunes. is justin on those recordings? or, more importantly, is our dining room in those recordings?

i would say demolition is a pretty solid and balanced album. it’s actually one that he didn’t release at first so it’s basically a lot of outtakes from a few albums, but it’s honestly one of my favorites. about 6 of the songs on there have never left my iTunes “Top 25 Most Played” playlist.
however, i also love cold roses. there are some great ideas in there. and a lot of honesty. also, it was simultaneously tracked in the same room.
heartbreaker won a lot of awards and i know you’ll recognize some songs on there, but i honestly don’t listen to that one this much. and i’m trying to be honest.

i wish i were at that river with you…especially now that everything is turning cold. there is something very appealing about being by the water when its cold…which is strange since that could actually be very uncomfortable.
