The Irrisistable Revolution: Living as an Ordinary Radical - Somewhat autobiographical memoirs of Shane Claiborne, who lived in community with homeless in North Philly, spent a summer with Mother Theressa, was in a musical with Rich Mullins, and went to Iraq during the shock and awe campaign to express solidarity with the Iraqi people and fellowship with Iraqi Christians. This guy is serious about taking Jesus seriously and I found this book tremendously challenging. Plus he's funny. You can find a sample here. http://www.thesimpleway.org/shane/index.html

For my money that's Miller's best work to date. The first time I read it I thought it was just okay cause I didn't think too much about it but I read it again this summer and its very good.

i severely hope that Manifest Destiny burns in hell.

i realize that it is a concept and not an object. but i will gladly tape a name tag to anything and send it to hell to be burned in the eternal fire.

Cash: The Autobiography
Amazing book if you haven't already read it. Seriously, if you haven't read it, you need to because it really is amazing.

Searching for God Knows What
by Donald Miller
Also amazing.
