awaken to life

Tonight, the coldness of bare feet on a moonlit path woke me from a seemingly endless, yet barely three night, slumber. I found myself looking up at a sky flooded with stars, assured of a coming restoration.

God, who for our redemption didst give thine only-begotten Son to the death of the cross, and by his glorious resurrection hast delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection.

Amen.

    amen.
we can know for ourselves the rising of Our Lord when we share in it with Him. of course, to rise from the grave necessitates we’ve followed Him on the path that leads there in the first place.
    howd the recital go?
