an ode to the sky
I walk around with the top of my head elevated an average of 6 feet and 4 inches above the ground. Some often wonder if the oxygen provided at this altitude is adequate to maintain a man of this stature. I quite simply respond (under my breath) that I think gravity is a deceptive thief.

facebook has most likely sent you several emails informing you that i commented on your note. each comment was my attempt to figure out on the stupid keyboard how to create a delightful cartoon of your own 6 4 stature next to your parent's 5 8 ones. i know nothing of technology and the above is the best i got, so please ignore facebook's messages and just try to enjoy my attempt at humor.
i honestly laughed so very hard for almost an entire semester about that one. i hope you are well and know that i'll be praying for you while in africa.
