    Hi Aaron,
Thanks for posting the Bloys Photos.
I was trying to check for the dates for this year’s camp meeting (No luck by the way, their site has not been updated for a year).
But did run across your site when googling BLOYS.
    Nice photos. Takes me back..
My Grandfather Charley Jones was one of the original Jones of the Jones Espy Finley Smith camp.
They have since dropped Smith, guess all the Smiths died off.
    Anyway. Thanks for the pics.

Great pics of Camp Meeting. Me and my sister are heading that way this Friday. The rest of the family is already there. It is truly and amazing experience and one that is hard to explain to anyone. Regarding the Smith’s from Mr. Moyer’s message. I am one of the descendents. Unfortunately for my great grandfather he had three daughters so the name didn’t pass on. My grandmother’s maiden name is Smith. She just turned 89 and has never missed a camp meeting. Well, I got to get packing. Keep up the good work and spreading the word.

Well, this is sort of a back door way to communicate, but Hi ROBERT, (am I correct R Coffey is Robert?) So are you Betsy’s son or grandson?
From Midland right? My Mom, Edna Edith Jones Moyer, never missed a Camp Meeting either, but she only lived to be 70. She and Edna were good friends.
Drop me a line. kenmoyer@austin.rr.com. Wish I could make it out there but it’s a 7 1/2 hour drive from Austin. Maybe next year.
Those pictures of guitar players take me back. I remember sitting on the wooden tables in the eating shed and playing as late as they would let us after church. That was in about 1957-1959.
    Ken
